Well known for its creative capacity and high volume of art production, Berlin’s art scene is often perceived as a place where anything can happen. Responding to this idea of an informal community, all together now invites work from the wohnung space Homie, the artist-run-space after the butcher, and the project space JET.

Seen as an intervention into the linear exhibition format all together now operates by borrowing artworks, performances, and events that have been either recommended or recently exhibited in Berlin. Interested in slowing down and expanding the regular dynamics of art programming, all together now, seeks to move behind common assumptions of newness and refusals to exhibition repetition.

Self-imposing a curatorial method of arbitrary selection, all together now will re-present the exhibitions of one entire room from Homie, the contents of one entire wall and one sculpture from after the butcher and the recommendation of one unseen work from JET.

Artists Jon Brumit, Sarah Wagner and Lee Montgomery, broadcasting live in Berlin, Hamburg and San Francisco: Bring along stories to share and small sound-making objects for ongoing radio interviews and performances (guitar and other objects provided).
